Oceancliff Newport, RI Wedding With Lindsey & Brian
We always love performing for wedding outside of the city, and for a summer wedding by the sea at Oceancliff in Newport R.I., Lindsay and Brian’s wedding couldn’t be more perfect. The gods were shining for them as the weather was perfect as they set to begin their wedding by the company of passing yachts and blue skies.
Lindsay and Brian were big fans of modern music set to strings, so the Keros String Quartet performed a set of music for them that was special to them of some of their favorite songs that have become personal to them over the years of their relationship. As their guests arrived love songs by the Beatles, classical songs like ‘Claire De Lune’ and current favorites like ‘Home’ by Ed Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros could be heard filling the air.
To begin the ceremony Lindsay processed down the aisle to ‘Wonderful Tonight’ by Eric Clapton which set the tone of the service. After they read their vows to eachother, the guests cheered as they walked out to Bob Marley’s ‘Is This Love’ with guests clapping along.
The reception continued inside the main hall with a wonderful first dance followed by heartfelt toasts during dinner. As the sun set on the water and dinner finished, guests were invited to dance with Lindsay & Brian.
I invite you to look at more pictures from this wedding by the incredibly talented Once Like A Spark.
